Brett
R. Taylor has worked in the health and fitness industry
since 1996. He has completed a Bachelors’ Degree
in Exercise Physiology, as well as numerous other
certifications in fitness, sports massage and business.
He is also a registered sports scientist with the
Australian Association for Exercise and Sports Science
(AAESS).
Brett’s ability to help clients achieve their
targets is first class. His success had earned
him respect from 5-star wellness resorts, hospitals,
professional athletes, sporting clubs, diplomats,
corporate giants and local community members around
the world.
After working for 7 years as an exercise physiologist
and sports masseur for the largest private organisation
in Asia (The American Club), he moved to create
Tailife Health & Leisure Spa in Phuket, Thailand.
This stunning facility included a state of the
art gymnasium, 25 meter swimming pool, massage
spa, sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor restaurant,
and sports bar. As managing director he oversaw
design and construction, created and implemented
a systematic business analysis, operating procedures,
membership systems and strategic sales and marketing
plan. Tailife Leisure Spa reached over 300 long
term members in its first year of business and
is still the leading health and fitness centre
in Phuket today (as part of the Yorkshire Hotel).
Since 2007 Brett has been consulting with major
wellness centres in Asia including Six Senses
Destination Spa, TRIA Integrative Wellness in
Bangkok, Chiva Som Resort in Hua Hin, and led
the 2 million dollar up-grade to City Gym Plus
in Cheboksary, Russia.
When Brett is not consulting with wellness centres
and sports clubs, his passion is one on one and
group fitness training for professional athletes
and local community members. He is an expert on
fat loss, increasing muscle definition, improving
athletic performance, and his clients overall
health and wellbeing. He has also practiced his
skills as a sports masseur with a high degree
of success. As such, Brett has served as the sports
massage therapist for President of the U.S.A.,
George.W Bush and treated other sports stars such
as Martina Navratilova.
